We successfully completed the first window for the 600 pressurized plane. We’ve got another one warming up in the oven as we prepare to make a second. It was a huge success – we stretched it, pressed it down, and now we’re letting it completely
We’ve got the seams taped up, so everything is ready to go. The empennage is officially complete once these cure, and then the peel ply comes off.
We’re finally laying up the rib flanges to ensure all the ribs have a 2-inch flange instead of the smaller one, meeting FEA requirements. Once that’s done and the controls are installed, we’ll be ready to close up the wing.
