The trim tab flap control system has been successfully actuating the trim tab. The trim tabs were designed with a mechanism that extends to the actual trim tab. Since most of the weight is now in front of the elevator hinge line, less weight will need to be added for balancing. A carbon fiber and Kevlar strip, which bends in the middle like a hinge, is being mounted on the rudder. It will attach to the trim tab, creating a seamless and efficient trim tab mechanism that is both lightweight and easy to install.
