The window piece didn’t turn out well – it was warped and bent. It wasn’t heated enough, and by the time we placed it over the mold, it didn’t hold or take shape properly. We’ll have to try again at a higher temp.

I did it! Here’s my first rear window clamped down underneath, although it didn’t need much clamping. It came out of the oven with our heating element, lid, and insulation blanket in factors. We used the big oven (10 by 10 by 20) and preheated
We are working on some of the final control parts, which we need to make under vacuum. Once these are complete, we’ll have almost all the control parts finished, except for the flaps and ailerons.
Our latest dyno pull on the second engine shows improved performance: Power: 241 HP at 2,388 RPM of prop (4200 on engine); Torque: 538 pound-feet. With an additional 120 HP factored in, we reach approximately 360 HP and a torque output around 700 pound-feet, matching
