Looking for temporary to full time help of extremely skilled experimental builder of entire planes. Probably need someone who has built many planes.
Immediately we need someone to help us finish out Kis TR4 plane in Stuart FL
We have a nice 28 ft camper for you to stay in, to get work done if you’re not local.
We can pay whatever it will take to get someone ASAP to come to Stuart and help us if they have the experience to do it all on their own without needing to be told what to do or shown how.
Can be multiple people, as the quicker it happens the better for us.
What we need help with:
1. Mounting a new experimental engine on the plane, that we already have 200 hours on a test stand. (1 week estimated)
2. Fitting and building the ailerons to our wings (2 weeks estimated)
3. Redo wiring aircraft (not panel wiring we have wiring harness done) (3 days)
4. Firewall work (grind and do more layups – but might have to be fully redone)(1 week estimated)
5. All systems and parts gone through – the plane was in an engine fire, and hasn’t flown in 5 years, so we need to make sure it is airworthy (1 -2 weeks)
6. Someone to mount the avionics, we have the wiring harness. (1 week)
7. Brakes mounted (2 days)
8. Polishing plexiglass (2 days)
Is a plane that flew 700 hours, and had an engine fire. Most is fixed but this.
Please email jamie at veloceplanes [dot] com with your resume and answering the questions at the end.
We are willing to pay $50-$100 an hour if the experience, speed, expertise and hours you can put in are what we need.
This could turn into full time work, but after this project is done, would only be around $65 an hour full time, long term. But this person can be temp until this job is done.
Also looking for someone with avionics experience to help us with the two panels in those two planes. one is GRT and other is Dynon. We have the wiring harness for the GRT 2 screens, radio – adbs, etc. need a panel made and the equipment mounted in with wiring harness corrected.
Jamie
PS. Send email with all the information I asked for in this ad.
