Another Veloce Gen 2 (KIS TR-4) plane has taken flight with a new Aerovolare engine www.aerovolare.com. There are a few bugs to work out, but overall, everything is expected to perform beautifully. The propeller blades will be pitched further, but the initial flight achieved about 1,000 feet per minute of climb at 90 knots. Takeoff occurred around the 1,000-foot markers on the runway, and landing was achieved in approximately the same 1,000 feet – without flaps, which is one issue that needs to be addressed.
