The tail has been prepped and is ready for permanent attachment to the fuselage. It will be mounted at the rear of the plane, covering the pass-through section where the control linkages transition into the unpressurized area. The wings have been carefully aligned from left to right, top to bottom, and their incidence angles have been set. Everything is now extremely close to perfect – especially for an experimental aircraft. With this done, the carry-through spar is being bonded into place, ensuring that the next time the wings are installed, they will simply need to be bolted on for a seamless fit. The tail is now permanently mounted. Just like with the wings, precise measurements were taken from top to bottom, side to side, and from wingtip to wingtip to ensure everything is properly aligned and within specifications.
