The flap jigs were mounted onto the wing jigs, allowing the flaps to be assembled with the wing. The same process was then applied to the second wing, which has most of the controls for the flaps and ailerons, is actually already done. All spar pass-through bolts were installed, and the assembly was taken apart to begin test-mounting the spars into the wing. A hole was cut through the spar opening and preparations were made to measure and center it into the fuselage. Once the wing was completed, it was ready for mounting. A team of five spent many hours cleaning up the wing to ensure it was ready for spar installation. The spar was then prepared for mounting into the wing skin using methacrylate adhesive.
