Interestingly, the peak horsepower on the dyno was not at the peak RPM. Instead, it was at peak throttle position delivering 391 hp at 5,000 RPM and 813 ft-lbs of torque. For those who think the engine cannot produce that amount of torque, keep in mind that we are using a 1.73 redrive. The actual engine produces 436 ft-lbs of torque before the redrive. However, we will limit the engines to 4,200 rpm for takeoff and climb-out, which provides 330 hp. www.AeroVolare.com
